Why do we sit back and take it?! Why do we allow ourselves to be spoon fed the “news” that they say we need to hear? If you aren’t outraged by this then that is something you should think about. There are people who want to tell the whole story, but the conservative media doesn’t want us to know it. It would make us question the motives and evaluate the costs of war. They don’t want that because they know that war and conflict drive the economic gears of our culture. We are entangled in this war culture and the only pacifier the media has is the story it tells us. The story they tell soothes us. Isn’t it time to turn off the TV news; put down the Crackberry; shutdown the PC and start interacting with people again?
